The Black Whole UnderGround tour CANADA is supported by the Foundation for Contemporary Art Emergency Grant.

Walter Kemp 3's Black Whole is an improv experimental superband performing at historically significant cities, including international afrobeat and jazz festivals with violinist Scott Tixier and Brent Birckhead, a maverick on reeds. Along with the rhythm section including Rishon Odel (bass) and Allan Mednard (drums), the tour begins in Richmond, VA at RVA Tobacco Lounge, Zurcher Gallery in SOHO, PAUSA Art House, West Falls Arts Center, BopStop Cleveland, and culminate with stops at points north (Canada) -The Rex Jazz & Blues Club. Phase two includes the west coast and overseas. We're recording a travel vlog, with meaningful visits to historic locales and this multi-stop touring vlog wants YOU!
